Tara's practice area is restricted to civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, insurance, medical malpractice and health law. Tara has a special interest in litigation with respect to traumatic brain injury (neurolaw).

Tara practices with the Litigation group in Ottawa.
Tara received her Baccalaureate of Social Sciences (Honours) from the University of Ottawa in 1994. In 1995, she received a Master of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and, in 1998, Tara received her LLB from the University of Windsor. She articled with Soloway, Wright and joined the firm upon her call to the bar in 2000.
Tara is a recipient of the Paroain, Raphael, Courey, Cohen & Houston Insurance Law award and the Nelligan Power Trial Advocacy Award. She is a member of the County of Carleton Law Association, Advocate's Society, Women and the Law, Canadian Bar Association, past secretary/treasurer of the Medical Legal Society of Ottawa-Carleton, past member of the Lawyer Play Committee, and past board member of Epilepsy Ottawa-Carleton. Tara has also presented for the Advocate's Society and at the Chateau Montebello Continuing Legal Education conference.
