Luc specializes in all aspects of commercial real estate, including land acquisition and sale, development, financing and leasing. Luc has acted on behalf of property developers in the purchase, sale, development, joint venture and financing of commercial properties and condominium projects, and has represented institutional and private lenders in raw land development, construction and non-profit financing of real estate projects.

Luc practices with the Real Estate group in Ottawa.

Luc has significant experience in representing commercial landlords and large institutional tenants in negotiating and implementing leases for retail, office, and industrial space in Ontario, and other Canadian jurisdictions.

Luc was called to the bars of Nova Scotia in 1997 and Ontario in 1999. He received his B. Sc. (Honours) in Microbiology in 1991 from Dalhousie University, and LL.B (cum laude) from University of Western Ontario Law School in 1995. Luc joined Soloway, Wright in June, 2005, after practicing for several years at large and mid-sized firms in Toronto and Ottawa.

Luc has written articles for the Ottawa Business Journal on leasing law and has presented and written for the Solicitor's Conference in Montebello. He is also a member of the County of Carleton Law Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and is formerly a Member-at-Large of the Real Property Executive for the OBA Real Property Section.
