Fiona specializes in all aspects of litigation, with a concentration in insurance defence, construction related litigation, personal injury, municipal defence and environmental claims.

She practices with the Litigation Group in Ottawa.

Fiona was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994 and joined Soloway Wright in 2008 after practising litigation in Toronto, Sudbury, and with a national firm in Ottawa. She received her BA in History and Honours Certificate in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario in 1985 and 1986, respectively, and her LLB from Queen's University in 1992.

Fiona was the recipient of the Law Student's Society Spark Award (for commitment to the Faculty of Law), the Miller Thomson Scholarship/Bursary (for overall scholarship and contribution to the community) and the Queen's Legal Aid Robinson Ryan Award (for outstanding contribution to Queen's Legal Aid).

Fiona is a member of the County of Carleton Law Association, the Advocates Society, and the Canadian Bar Association.

Fiona is an active member of the community volunteering with minor sports associations and with school functions.
