Ed's practice is focused primarily on a wide variety of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions, divestitures, land development, residential developer sales, secured lending and mortgage financings. He has a particular interest, and has extensive experience, in all forms of title issues involving land.

Ed is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the County of Carleton Law Association and the County of Carleton Law Association Real Estate Subcommittee. He has lectured for the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association on real estate and mortgage matters. As an active performer on the classical guitar for more than 40 years, Ed has been frequently involved with legal aspects of the music business and has been consulted and has given advice from time to time on music related issues. He has also lectured at international guitar conferences in Canada on the business aspects of music.
