Darrell practices municipal, expropriation, development and planning law with the Municipal Group in Ottawa.
A resident of Ottawa and the Valley for most of his life, Darrell obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Mass Communications from Carleton University in 2001. After graduation, Darrell worked as a legislative and policy advisor at the Senate of Canada until 2007 when he enrolled in the Common Law program at the University of Ottawa. During law school, Darrell was recognized for his strong oral advocacy skills and employed by the Dean of the Law faculty to assist in the editing of a leading casebook used by law students throughout the country.
After receiving his LL.B. in 2010, Darrell completed his articles with Soloway, Wright and joined the firm after being called to the Bar of Ontario in 2011. He is active in the Ottawa community as a board member of the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa Vanier. Darrell is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association.
