Alan's practice is restricted to planning law, development law, and municipal law matters
and municipalities from time to time.
Alan practices with the Municipal group in Ottawa.
Alan took his LLB from the University of Ottawa School of Common Law in 1974 and was called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 1976. He joined Soloway, Wright in 1978 after working with the City of Ottawa.
Alan is a Part-time Professor of Municipal and Planning Law at the Common Law faculty of the University of Ottawa where he has been teaching second and third year law students since 2003. He is also a member of the County of Carleton Law Association.
