 Tara Sweeney received her Baccalaureate of Social Sciences (Honours) from the University of Ottawa in 1994. In 1995, she received a Master of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, and in 1998, Tara received her LLB from the University of Windsor. She articled with Soloway Wright and joined the firm upon her call to the bar in 2000. Her practice includes civil and commercial litigation, insurance and medical malpractice. She also has a special interest in neurolaw (head-injury litigation). While at the University of Windsor, Tara was awarded with the Paroain, Raphael, Courey, Cohen & Houston Insurance Law award for the highest standing in insurance law and, while at the University of Ottawa was awarded the Nelligan Power Trial Advocacy Award. Tara is a former executive member of the Board of Directors for Epilepsy, Ottawa-Carleton.
