Trottier v. O'Neil, [1993] O.J. No. 1553 (Gen. Div.)
       Soloway Wright LLP represented the Plaintiffs successfully in a case involving surgical error which occurred during back surgery. The Plaintiffs were awarded a total of $670,120.24.

R.H. v. Hunter, [1996] O.J. No. 2065 (Gen. Div.), [1996] O.J. No. 4477 (Gen. Div.)
       Soloway Wright LLP represented the Plaintiffs successfully in a “wrongful birth” case where the Defendant physicians failed to provide a sufficient amount of information to them with respect to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The Plaintiffs were awarded total damages of $2,918,965.

Kantor v. Campbell, [1993] O.J. Court File No. 12650/89 (Gen. Div.)
       Soloway Wright LLP successfully represented the Plaintiffs in a jury trial involving a failure to diagnose pregnancy-induced hypertension which resulted in stillbirth.

Mozersky v. Cushman, [1997] O.J. No. 4912 (Gen. Div.)
       Soloway Wright LLP represented the Plaintiffs in an extremely complex case involving migraine headaches, birth control pills and their relationship to the stroke and “locked-in” syndrome suffered by the Plaintiff. Although the action was dismissed by the Court, this case exemplifies Soloway Wright LLP’s commitment to their clients and that we will represent our clients vigorously through to the conclusion of trial and beyond.

Lurtz v. Duchesne, [2003] O.J. No. 1540 (S.C.J.)
       Soloway Wright LLP successfully represented the Plaintiffs in an action based on a failure to diagnose acromegaly (a condition caused by a growth hormone secreting tumour on the pituitary gland). The Trial Judge’s decision was upheld on appeal [2005] O.J. No. 354 (C.A.).

Noonan (Litigation guardian of) v. Exhibition Place, [1991] O.J. No. 421 (Gen. Div.)
       Soloway Wright LLP successfully represented the Blue Jays Baseball Club in a personal injury action.

Spezzano v. Spezzano, [2002] O.J. No. 2255 (S.C.J.)
       Soloway Wright LLP successfully represented the elderly Defendant in forcing his insurer to provide him with a defence and pay for his lawyer in an action brought by his son, arising out of a motor vehicle accident.

Bingley v. Morrison Fuels, a Division of 503373 Ontario Ltd., [2008] O.J. No. 596 (S.C.J.)
       Soloway Wright LLP successfully resolved the home owner’s claim in an action brought against the Defendants for negligent oil delivery to the Plaintiffs’ home when the home had, years earlier, been converted to natural gas. The home and property were highly contaminated as a result. The Defendant and Third Party continued on to trial.

Traversy v. Smith, [2007] O.J. No. 4505 (S.C.J.)
       Soloway Wright LLP successfully represented the Plaintiff in defeating a motion brought by the Crown and Ontario Provincial Police to strike the Statement of Claim.

Hartwick v. Simser, [2004] O.J. No. 4315 (S.C.J.)
       Soloway Wright LLP represented the Defendant in a motor vehicle action addressing the issue of pre-existing condition and crumbling skull.

       Soloway Wright LLP successfully represented the Defendant in having an application by the Plaintiff dismissed.

656203 Ontario Inc. v. Simcoe & Erie General Insurance Co., [1995] O.J. No. 2572 (Gen. Div.), [1996] O.J. No. 4396.
       Soloway Wright LLP successfully represented the Plaintiffs in a fire loss claim that had been denied by their insurer for a total award of $3,432,900.00.

Orchover v. Wright, [1996] O.J. No. 5387 (Gen. Div.)
       Soloway Wright LLP successfully represented the Defendant in arguing the deductibility of accident benefits the Plaintiff was entitled to receive.
