 Khalid Elgazzar practices mainly in the areas of civil, commercial and insurance litigation, but he also has experience with conflicts of laws and municipal and planning law.
Khalid obtained his LL.B. at the University of Ottawa in 2005. During his time as a law student Khalid enjoyed two years as a case worker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic where he worked in the Clinic's Civil Division on matters ranging from human rights complaints to contract and employment law. Upon graduating Khalid received the Regional Senior Justice Prize for having attained the highest mark in a moot court. Khalid also holds a B. Comm. with majors in both finance and marketing from the University of Ottawa where he graduated with magna cum laude distinction.
Khalid also articled with Soloway Wright, and joined the firm upon his call to the Bar in 2006. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
